Pairing the Outlet to the Iris Hub

Step 1: To begin, follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Contact a professional electrician if you need assistance with installation.

Step 2: Once installed, open the Iris app. From the dashboard, tap on the upper-right Add (+) menu, then tap Devices. This puts the hub in pairing mode. Confirm that the hub's green light is blinking. Browse or search for the outlet in the app by category or by brand if you need the in-app instructions.

Step 3: Press the button on the front of the device once.

Step 4: When the hub triple beeps, your device has been paired. Operate your outlet through the the Lights & Switches Card, or by tapping on the upper-left navigation menu (≡) in the dashboard and selecting Devices.

Reset Instructions

When the device has been force removed from the app or the device has pairing and/or connectivity issues, you may want to reset the device's Z-Wave configuration.

Step 1: Start at the app's dashboard. Tap on the upper-left navigation menu (≡) and select Devices.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the list to find the Z-Wave Tools. Tap on this, then tap Remove Z-Wave Devices. Remain on this screen until step 4 is complete.

Step 3: Go to the wall outlet. Press the button once.

Step 4: The outlet will now reset itself. When successful, the hub will double beep, and the app will inform you the outlet was reset. You can tap Done on the app now.

Step 5: Reconnect the device by following the pairing steps listed above.
